I've had a low-level cold for the last week. It's not a particularly bad sickness, but it's left me a little tired, and getting a good night's sleep has been difficult. I'll zonk out for a while and then wake up from the sensation of a drop of snot rolling out of my nose. Ewww. That's a terrible way to wake up.

Since I work from home, I've still been able to do my job. I mean, it's just not that tiring to sit around in my bathrobe and type. Even if the bathrobe falls open and I'm too tired to re-fasten it, oh well. Who's going to mind? Dust bunnies? The bag of Halloween candy?

Also, my cold hasn't really been bad enough to shirk doing my household duties. I've been doing the dishes and other domestic chores as usual. This weekend was loaded with them. I spent hours in the backyard systemically destroying vegetation, and there were countless errands to run.

By the end of the weekend, I was exhausted and feeling worse than I did on Friday. An expression came to mind that I had not really thought about since the dark days of Daisy's colic: TGIM

And, sure enough, after a nice day of sitting on my ass and just typing, I am feeling a little better.

Glad you're feeling better, but I think you passed it along to me. That wasn't nice. I'm going to have to get back at you very soon, and in a rather public forum.

Don't you wish you knew when...

And how...

Mwahahahaha!!
