Huh? Did I miss something?

Yes, but you would have had to scroll down like 3 more whole paragraphs to get context, so it's forgivable. 3 paragraphs! That's like 1000 miles!

Congrats!!

Any Goals set up for Next Year???

OMG!!!

I was just now in the shower (stop) and realized what I'd missed.

Congratulations, Mike! That's awesome!

What are you going to do to celebrate? How about Fog City Diner!

Yippee!! Good for you, Mike. And you did it two weeks early. Does Daisy still run with you occasionally? The Daisy marathon post was one of the best things I read all year on anybody's blog.

Betcha can't do it skipping next year.

Sarah R, thanks. I can't see myself setting any running goals next year. Maybe a sitting or TV watching goal.

JR, celebrate? Entering the data into my spreadsheet was the celebration. I almost pumped my fist and then I must have uttered a tiny "woot".

VS, nah, Daisy isn't easily motivated to go running. But I'll probably talk her into doing the relay race again this year.

Chess, skipping, eh? That smacks of effort.

WooHOO! Way to shatter a goal!

Thanks, Kat. I'm not sure the 13 miles counts as a "shatter", but I'll take it. Given my clumsiness, it's entirely possible I'll injure myself without getting to run again. I came *this* close to slamming straight into a tree on yesterday's run.

Just think, if you had driven those miles for business purposes you could claim a deduction of $451.01 on your taxes.

FYI- The standard rate in 2007 is going up to $0.485/mile, so put away those running shoes!

Tiny, it's a stretch to think that my work-at-home job would offer me driving expenses, but I'll submit that expense report just for humor's sake.

Congratulations! Now your goal is just making it through to the end of the year without another run-in with an inanimate object.

Carey, you got this all backwards. Now that I've reached my goal, it's OK to run into stuff.
