I like to compartamentalize my life, separating my social life from my family life from my job.

However, when I sit down in the bathroom at work to take a dump, and I find pieces of glitter in my underwear, I realize that you can never escape being the father of a 9 year-old girl.

(Remind me to do my laundry separate from Daisy's from now on)

wow, dump and glitter all in one post. Creative! With three girls I haven't known a life without glitter for a long time

Just wait until you move your couch. You'll be amazed at the bits of girly glory you'll find.

Meg, I'll assume the unwritten part of your comment is that you have also found glitter in your underwear.

Sue, better girly bits than boy bits back there.
