I realize that I made a mistake in my post where I wrote a 55 word blog entry. I missed the obvious joke.

What joke? Did I miss a joke, too?

I did notice you didn't post it on a Friday.

Oh, good god, people. The joke is that I ran out of space to finish the ending because I only had 55 words. Ok, it's not a particularly funny joke, but it ain't complex either.

Are you kidding? I thought it was brilliant. No ellipsis or anything. It's like a lateral thinking puzzle.

Also reminds me of the time when a bunch of us were playing Pictionary, and the word was "incomplete." My cousin drew a series of clearly identifiable items that he intentionally failed to finish. I couldn't figure it out.

You see that, people (jr)? Neel Mehta, 55 Word Fiction blogger extraordinaire, thought it was "brilliant"!

With that, I now retire from 55-word blogging. I like going out on top.

Brilliant? Obviously Neel hasn't yet been acquainted with your ego.

(I'm only kidding. I, too, have accused Mike of being the same. I even wrote on OM's site that you--Mike--wrote a 55.)
